Plot: The Opening: A couple dressed as a robot and Flash Gordon return to their home, which has many "ghost-crows" (scarecrow style ghosts) in their yard for Halloween decorations. The woman, Emma, tries to blow out the jack-o'-lantern, but her husband, Henry, tells her not to because it is not midnight yet and it's against tradition. She refuses to listen to him and blows out the jack-o'-lantern anyway. On their porch, Emma argues that the yard looks like a "crime scene" and says she wants the decorations taken down in preparation for her parents arrival the following day. Henry, who loves Halloween, promises to take them down the next day. After a little convincing Emma agrees to meet him inside for some alone time. Henry goes inside to "put on the tape" while Emma starts to take down the decorations, uttering the unforgivable, "I hate Halloween". As Emma takes off all of the sheets from the ghost-crows, one jumps at her, and in the ensuing struggle they tumble onto the sidewalk where passing kids witness the scene. Under cover of the sheet, the figure takes a bitten pumpkin sucker and slits her throat. The sheet turns red and the children run away scared as the unknown assailant drags Emma's body back toward the house. Henry doesn't hear because he is passed out upstairs with the TV on high volume. Sometime later, he wakes up and sees Emma hasn't come inside yet. He goes into the yard to discover one of the ghost-crows now has lights. He removes the white sheet to see Emma's severed head on the stake with the same sucker used to kill her lodged in her mouth.
