Plot: Rehan (Amir Khan) is a tourist guide who meets Zooni (Kajol) on a school trip. Zooni is a blind girl & her father is a wise man he once told her that "to choose between right or wrong is simple, but what defines one's life is the decision between the greater of two goods or the lesser of two evils. her mother asked her friends to take care after her during the trip. she was waiting for her future man to come to her & she thought Rehan was that man. she believed only in love. On contrary, Rehan only believed in needs & desires. he lives a hard life as a tour guide. for him, women are like cities, he moves from one to another, know them in depth & spend good time in them then leaves them. in a discussion, he told her about his point of view. it was quite distressing to her. however, she tried hard to teach him her principles, like love & respect of work & time. he liked her somehow, but thought that she is too innocent to go in a relationship with him, so he left her. she waited for him until she caught him & heard his voice, she called him & asked him to be with him for a night. he warned her that this relationship with him will destroy her & he is the devil. she accepted. after that night she got pregnant & he arranged for a marriage & for an operation to cure her blind eyes. operation was successful, but he died in an explosion before completing the marriage. she stayed for years after her memories with him feeling the guilt that she sent him to death. but then one day, a wounded soldier knocked upon her door. he was so strange in behavior with her, little talking, aggressive in dealing with her kid. however, she hears Rehan's voice in his, & inspires Rehan's smell in his. he tried to go away after healing without hurting her, but the storm outside prevented him. her father helped him to cure. then, he felt he can't hide it anymore, he told her that he is Rehan himself & he is a kashmiri soldier but could not explain why he is wounded & how he didn't die in that explosion & why he left her & why he worked as a tour guide,... etc. he said "i can tell lies & u will believe me, but i dislike to do this. these information are secret & all what i can say is that i love u very much & this is the only truth in my life!". she loved him very much & accepted that. marriage got completed & they lived happily. but father watched on TV that he is the terrorist & found the proof. he faced Rehan, Rehan could do nothing but killing him & her uncle (the general) & used his phone to call his superior terrorists to come pick him up & receive that last piece of his last mission. after that he will live happily forever with his wife & son. Zooni saw the body of her dead father floating on the lake. Rehan lied that he just left her father with her uncle playing chess. she suspected him as the wanted terrorist & went without hesitation to her uncle to find him dead too. she used his phone & call the indian army. Rehan could know where she is, so he followed her to her uncle's house & made the deal with her to finish this last job & then quit. at first she could say nothing & gave him that piece necessary for releasing the rocket. then, she finds that her country is more valuable & important. she thought this is her true life exam question & she could choose between the greater of two goods (or the lesser of two evils) & she killed him. and the indian army killed the rest of the terrorists who came to pick him up. she left again upon his memorial & taught her son how to be a good Muslim.
